What we collect
Nothing, on this website. No analytics, no cookies, no tracking pixels, no accounts. Nobody is counting your visit. The app is nearly as short an answer, but it has two exceptions worth stating plainly, and they are below.

kime.video is a set of static pages. There is no database behind it and no account to create.
- Cookies - none set. Nothing is stored in your browser beyond the page itself.
- Analytics - none. No Google Analytics, no Plausible, no Vercel Analytics, nothing.
- Fonts - the typefaces load from Google Fonts, so Google receives the request and your IP address, as it would for any site using them. No cookies are set by that request.
- Hosting - the site is served by Vercel, which keeps standard server logs including IP addresses for a short period. We do not query them.
- Email - if you write to us, we have your email and whatever you sent. That is it.
Your video stays on your computer. Kime finds the moments, makes the cut and pulls the stills right there. There is no upload and no queue. It works on a plane.
Two features do reach the network. Both are off until you turn them on, and both are switches in Settings.
AI
Off unless you add your own AI key - the code your AI provider gives you.
The speech add-on
Off by default. It lets Kime understand what was said.
The app sends no telemetry. No usage statistics, no crash reports, no phone-home. If something breaks and you say nothing, we will not know.
That is why feedback is manual. Settings has an action that saves a file describing what Kime learned during your session. You can open and read that file before you decide to send it. It never leaves your computer on its own - you attach it to an email yourself, or you do not.
There is no auto-update yet, so the app makes no background requests at all. When one is added, this page will say what it fetches before it ships.
Because we hold nothing but the emails you send us, most data requests have a very short answer. You are still entitled to ask what we have, ask for a copy, or ask us to delete it, and we will action it.
Kime is a small independent project, not a company with a data protection officer. One person reads this address:
